About — A00
The irregular opening of sovereign cybersecurity.
Why A00?
In chess opening classification, A00 designates irregular openings — those that don’t follow the books. They surprise, destabilize, and force the opponent to think instead of reciting.
In cybersecurity, that’s exactly our approach: don’t follow the standard playbook, but build custom defenses, tailored to your context, with tools you control.
The Grob Attack
Our flagship tool is called grob — named after the Grob Attack (1.g4), the most aggressive and irregular chess opening. A flanked pawn move that opens a diagonal across the entire board.
Like the g4 pawn that deliberately exposes the king to gain vision, grob the proxy deliberately interposes itself in the LLM flow to see, filter, and protect every request.
What we do
A00 develops open-source cybersecurity tools for sovereign AI:
- grob — LLM Proxy with built-in DLP. Redacts secrets before they reach the API.
- RFC-HIT — Human intent authentication for AI agents.
- OpenClaw — Agent deployment in TEE/SNP trusted environments.
- st4ck — Sovereign Kubernetes platform (Talos, OpenBao, Cilium, Flux).
The founder
Clément Liard — Tech Lead specialized in cybersecurity and sovereign deployments. Based in Rennes. Deploys in air-gap and defense environments. Open-source first.
